Kalinciakovo

village with a Romanesque church dating from the 12th century with original wall paintings. Nearby a church which was originally built in Baroque (18th century), then rebuilt in classical style. In the vicinity of the village there is a spa Margita-Ilona with thermal water (25C). About 10 km from Kalinčiakovo, near the Brhlovce village, there is a reserve of folk architecture where in tuff slopes there are houses hewn into the tuff rock which were once a refuge of people from Turkish raids, later used as dwellings.
